Thrillist is a guys’ lifestyle newsletter “fearlessly sifting through the crap every day to uncover your city’s finest new eats, drinks, gear, travel and entertainment.” Since launching in 2005, the newsletter has over 800,000 daily subscribers, and offers ten local editions, including New York, LA, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Vegas, Atlanta, Philly and Miami.

The goal for the redesign effort, in which our team led the architecture and design process, was to create a more robust website that, while still offering the same content as the daily emails, served as a comprehensive guide for each city edition. Developed in partnership with Redub LLC and Thrillist’s in-house development team, the new website archives content according city and topic; in ways that are easily browsable and searchable by a variety of criteria, and on-going features are curated thematically by the editors. The site also offers video, interactive slideshows, a personalization tool and a mapping service. Since its launch in November 2008, traffic quickly increased two-fold, page-views went up about 4 times and the number of subscribers has almost doubled.

We freaking love Kiss Me I'm Polish. They've got a great aesthetic, a solid understanding of user behaviors, and the ability to follow a schedule without missing deadlines. It's a pleasure to work with KMIP and we'll never stop."
